Blood Bank of GCRI celebrated World blood donor day on 14th June 2024, and collected total 144 blood bags. Among 144 donors, 30 were female donors and 114 were male donors.

Theme for this blood donor day was “20 years of celebrating giving: thank you blood donors!”

Component separation was done from each blood bags and separated into Packed Cell Volume, Fresh Frozen Plasma, and Platelet Concentrate. Thus, each donor helped three patients. After blood donation refreshment snacks were given and as a thank you token gifts distribution done for each voluntary donor.
